GCFSI has been partnering with the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) since 2013. Together we host the Innovation Scholars Program and the Frugal Innovation Practicum. GCFSI works with LUANAR to advance their mission of developing the current and next generation of entrepreneurial scientists in Malawi and the region.

Previously, GCFSI partnered with WUR to help advance a number of center-led projects, particularly related to climate resilient maize and seed systems. The team addressed factors that limit access to improved seed varieties.
